# Behold vs Ihsan Mode

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Ihsan Mode at none against Behold's 3. Ihsan Mode also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 weeks). Behold's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (49 vs 5). On price, rating, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Behold sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Ihsan Mode asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Behold against 5.0 for Ihsan Mode. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Behold has 49 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 94% of Behold's written reviews are positive against 100% of Ihsan Mode's.

Behold ships an update every 2 weeks, Ihsan Mode every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
