# NotesXP vs ChatEDU

The clearest difference is review sentiment: ChatEDU at 100% against NotesXP's 86%. ChatEDU also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). NotesXP's advantage is ratings volume (53 vs 4) and update cadence (every 11 days vs monthly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NotesXP sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and ChatEDU sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ChatEDU holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NotesXP has 53 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 86% of NotesXP's written reviews are positive against 100% of ChatEDU's.

NotesXP ships an update every 11 days, ChatEDU monthly. Both last shipped on October 14, 2026.
