# PrivPass Password Manager vs VaultKeepR

The clearest difference is update cadence: PrivPass Password Manager at every 5 days against VaultKeepR's every 10 days. VaultKeepR's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PrivPass Password Manager sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and VaultKeepR sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PrivPass Password Manager ships an update every 5 days, VaultKeepR every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
