# Pushscroll vs Kro

The clearest difference is monetization model: Pushscroll at free with in-app purchases against Kro's subscription. Pushscroll also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (18K vs 6). Kro's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pushscroll sells 21 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Kro sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Kro holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pushscroll has 18K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Pushscroll ships an update every 3 days, Kro every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
