# CROSSorCHECK vs CheckPrep

The clearest difference is update cadence: CheckPrep at every 2 days against CROSSorCHECK's monthly. CROSSorCHECK's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CROSSorCHECK sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year and CheckPrep sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CROSSorCHECK ships an update monthly, CheckPrep every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on September 24, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
