# Random Filter vs Depth

The clearest difference is rating: Random Filter at 4.2 against Depth's 2.0. Random Filter also leads on ratings volume (4.6K vs 1). Depth's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 12) and ads (none vs shown). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Random Filter sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $3.59 per 7 days. Depth asks for nothing beyond the download.

Random Filter holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Random Filter has 4.6K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
