# Mr Sneaky vs OverLit

The clearest difference is rating: OverLit at 5.0 against Mr Sneaky's 4.1. OverLit also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). Mr Sneaky's advantage is ratings volume (249 vs 2) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mr Sneaky sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and OverLit sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

OverLit holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mr Sneaky has 249 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Mr Sneaky ships an update every 3 months, OverLit every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
