# ІКstudieren vs Codex4

The clearest difference is update cadence: Codex4 at every 4 days against ІКstudieren's every 2 weeks. Codex4 also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). ІКstudieren's advantage is ratings volume (28 vs 2) and review sentiment (63% vs 50%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ІКstudieren sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and Codex4 sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Codex4 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ІКstudieren has 28 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of ІКstudieren's written reviews are positive against 50% of Codex4's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ІКstudieren ships an update every 2 weeks, Codex4 every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and September 17, 2026 respectively.
