# PlaySimple Cryptogram vs Mentraxia

The clearest difference is ratings volume: PlaySimple Cryptogram at 25K against Mentraxia's 1. PlaySimple Cryptogram also leads on chart position (#62 vs unranked). Mentraxia's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PlaySimple Cryptogram sells 16 one-off in-app purchases and Mentraxia sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for PlaySimple Cryptogram against 5.0 for Mentraxia. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PlaySimple Cryptogram has 25K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
