# Fasting Tracker Simple vs Metabo

The clearest difference is update cadence: Metabo at every 2 days against Fasting Tracker Simple's every 2 weeks. Fasting Tracker Simple's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fasting Tracker Simple sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Metabo sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fasting Tracker Simple ships an update every 2 weeks, Metabo every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
