# Pret A Manger vs Ciervo

The clearest difference is monetization model: Ciervo at free against Pret A Manger's free with in-app purchases. Ciervo also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Pret A Manger's advantage is ratings volume (145 vs 1). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Pret A Manger against 5.0 for Ciervo. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pret A Manger has 145 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Pret A Manger ships an update every 3 weeks, Ciervo every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
