# Bloons Blitz vs TRIPWIRE Recon

The clearest difference is rating: Bloons Blitz at 4.7 against TRIPWIRE Recon's 3.5. Bloons Blitz also leads on ratings volume (2.3K vs 2) and chart position (#56 vs unranked). TRIPWIRE Recon's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 65%) and in-app purchases (none vs 12). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bloons Blitz sells 12 one-off in-app purchases. TRIPWIRE Recon asks for nothing beyond the download.

Bloons Blitz holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bloons Blitz has 2.3K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 65% of Bloons Blitz's written reviews are positive against 100% of TRIPWIRE Recon's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Bloons Blitz ships an update weekly, TRIPWIRE Recon every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
