# Screencat vs Moai

The clearest difference is update cadence: Screencat at every 2 days against Moai's every 5 days. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Screencat sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $49.99 per year and Moai sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
