# Screencat vs #Backlog

The clearest difference is ads: Screencat at none against #Backlog's shown. #Backlog's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.5). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Screencat sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $49.99 per year and #Backlog sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
