# Serious Aspirant vs PrepMonkey

The clearest difference is ads: Serious Aspirant at none against PrepMonkey's shown. PrepMonkey's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Serious Aspirant sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and PrepMonkey sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Serious Aspirant ships an update every 5 months, PrepMonkey fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
