# Reco Social vs Whencee

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Reco Social at 32K against Whencee's 1. Reco Social also leads on chart position (#4 vs unranked). Whencee's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs weekly) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Whencee holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Reco Social has 32K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Reco Social ships an update weekly, Whencee every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
