# Pollsition vs Snopes

The clearest difference is rating: Snopes at 4.8 against Pollsition's 4.0. Snopes also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (650 vs 1). Pollsition's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 11). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Snopes sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Pollsition asks for nothing beyond the download.

Snopes holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Snopes has 650 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Pollsition ships an update every 6 months, Snopes every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
