# SaxWeather vs Sky Warden

The clearest difference is ads: SaxWeather at none against Sky Warden's shown. Sky Warden's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 5 weeks) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SaxWeather sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Sky Warden sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SaxWeather ships an update every 5 weeks, Sky Warden every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
