# PicPet vs Glimpse

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Glimpse at none against PicPet's 9. Glimpse also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (100% vs 90%). PicPet's advantage is ratings volume (1.3K vs 68). On price, rating, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PicPet sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Glimpse asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for PicPet against 4.9 for Glimpse. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PicPet has 1.3K ratings behind it against 68, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 90% of PicPet's written reviews are positive against 100% of Glimpse's.

PicPet ships an update weekly, Glimpse fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
