# ChallengeFlag vs StreamCaddy

The clearest difference is ads: StreamCaddy at none against ChallengeFlag's shown. StreamCaddy also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). ChallengeFlag's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly) and ratings volume (10 vs 2). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

StreamCaddy holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ChallengeFlag has 10 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ChallengeFlag ships an update weekly, StreamCaddy fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
