# Video2MP3 vs Stem Split

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Video2MP3 at 100% against Stem Split's 31%. Stem Split's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 1.0) and ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Video2MP3 sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and Stem Split sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Stem Split holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Stem Split has 1.4K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Video2MP3's written reviews are positive against 31% of Stem Split's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Video2MP3 ships an update every 4 weeks, Stem Split every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
