# Birthdays vs Scholaroos

The clearest difference is update cadence: Scholaroos at weekly against Birthdays's every 2 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Birthdays sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Scholaroos sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Birthdays ships an update every 2 weeks, Scholaroos weekly. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
