# AVIX vs Penance

The clearest difference is rating: Penance at 5.0 against AVIX's 4.3. Penance also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 13). AVIX's advantage is ratings volume (272 vs 1) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.2). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AVIX sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Penance asks for nothing beyond the download.

Penance holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AVIX has 272 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
