# myPefy vs Asterode

The clearest difference is ads: Asterode at none against myPefy's shown. Asterode also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. myPefy sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Asterode sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

myPefy ships an update every 2 months, Asterode fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
