# Pocket Films vs Scroll TV

The clearest difference is ads: Scroll TV at none against Pocket Films's shown. Scroll TV also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pocket Films sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Scroll TV sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pocket Films ships an update every 5 weeks, Scroll TV every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
