# Fathom vs Kōra

The clearest difference is update cadence: Fathom at weekly against Kōra's every 3 weeks. Kōra's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fathom sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Kōra sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fathom ships an update weekly, Kōra every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
