# Stem Split vs Harmolody

The clearest difference is rating: Harmolody at 5.0 against Stem Split's 4.5. Harmolody also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.4). Stem Split's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (1.4K vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Stem Split sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Harmolody sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Harmolody holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Stem Split has 1.4K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Stem Split ships an update every 8 days, Harmolody every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
