# Stem Split vs StemScriber

The clearest difference is rating: StemScriber at 5.0 against Stem Split's 4.5. Stem Split's advantage is ratings volume (1.3K vs 1) and chart position (#146 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Stem Split sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and StemScriber sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

StemScriber holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Stem Split has 1.3K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Stem Split ships an update every 8 days, StemScriber weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
