# KeyBean vs QuickTerminal

The clearest difference is ads: KeyBean at none against QuickTerminal's shown. QuickTerminal's advantage is update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 7 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. KeyBean sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per year and QuickTerminal sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

KeyBean ships an update every 7 months, QuickTerminal every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
