# FoxNote vs AI Note Taker

The clearest difference is rating: AI Note Taker at 5.0 against FoxNote's 4.5. AI Note Taker also leads on device support (4 vs 1). FoxNote's advantage is review sentiment (29% vs 0%) and ratings volume (344 vs 4). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FoxNote sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and AI Note Taker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AI Note Taker holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FoxNote has 344 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of FoxNote's written reviews are positive against 0% of AI Note Taker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FoxNote ships an update fortnightly, AI Note Taker every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
