# FoxNote vs Versus You

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Versus You at 100% against FoxNote's 29%. Versus You also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and update cadence (every 6 days vs fortnightly). FoxNote's advantage is ratings volume (341 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FoxNote sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Versus You sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Versus You holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FoxNote has 341 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 29% of FoxNote's written reviews are positive against 100% of Versus You's.

FoxNote ships an update fortnightly, Versus You every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
