# SmartBlock vs Private AI Note Taker

The clearest difference is update cadence: Private AI Note Taker at every 6 days against SmartBlock's every 3 weeks. Private AI Note Taker also leads on ratings volume (5 vs 1). SmartBlock's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SmartBlock sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Private AI Note Taker sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
