# XR MEDIA PLAYER vs VirtuAlly

The clearest difference is rating: VirtuAlly at 3.6 against XR MEDIA PLAYER's 1.0. VirtuAlly also leads on ratings volume (5 vs 1). XR MEDIA PLAYER's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 17) and review sentiment (100% vs 80%). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VirtuAlly sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. XR MEDIA PLAYER asks for nothing beyond the download.

VirtuAlly holds the better App Store score, 3.6 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VirtuAlly has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of XR MEDIA PLAYER's written reviews are positive against 80% of VirtuAlly's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

XR MEDIA PLAYER ships an update every 9 days, VirtuAlly every 8 days. Both last shipped on October 28, 2026.
