# i9VPN vs Fast VPN

The clearest difference is ads: Fast VPN at none against i9VPN's shown. Fast VPN also leads on ratings volume (1K vs 194). i9VPN's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.4). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. i9VPN sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Fast VPN sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

i9VPN holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fast VPN has 1K ratings behind it against 194, so its average is the more settled of the two.

i9VPN ships an update every 2 weeks, Fast VPN every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
