# Acadex vs DBT Central

The clearest difference is update cadence: Acadex at every 2 weeks against DBT Central's every 2 months. DBT Central's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Acadex sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and DBT Central sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Acadex ships an update every 2 weeks, DBT Central every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
