# Acadex vs StudyMap

The clearest difference is update cadence: StudyMap at every 5 days against Acadex's every 2 weeks. StudyMap also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Acadex sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and StudyMap sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
