# Color Sort Rope vs Cipherly

The clearest difference is ads: Cipherly at none against Color Sort Rope's shown. Color Sort Rope's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Color Sort Rope sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Cipherly sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Color Sort Rope ships an update every 2 months, Cipherly every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
