# Post9 vs Roster Blast

The clearest difference is monetization model: Roster Blast at free with in-app purchases against Post9's subscription. Roster Blast also leads on ratings volume (133 vs 2). Post9's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Post9 sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per 3 months and Roster Blast sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Post9 against 4.9 for Roster Blast. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Roster Blast has 133 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Post9 ships an update every 3 days, Roster Blast fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
