# MeshCore vs EH!

The clearest difference is rating: EH! at 4.8 against MeshCore's 4.4. EH! also leads on monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). MeshCore's advantage is review sentiment (74% vs 60%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MeshCore sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and EH! sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

EH! holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 93 and 42 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of MeshCore's written reviews are positive against 60% of EH!'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MeshCore ships an update every 3 weeks, EH! every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
