# Dolphin Emulator vs STAR Ace

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Dolphin Emulator at 13.0 against STAR Ace's 17.0. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dolphin Emulator sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month and STAR Ace sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
