# AwarenessNote vs 微光

The clearest difference is update cadence: 微光 at every 5 days against AwarenessNote's every 3 weeks. 微光 also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AwarenessNote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and 微光 sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AwarenessNote ships an update every 3 weeks, 微光 every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
