# Magilecard vs JaraGift

The clearest difference is update cadence: Magilecard at every 2 weeks against JaraGift's every 2 months. Magilecard also leads on rating (4.3 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (164 vs 14). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Magilecard holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Magilecard has 164 ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 76% of Magilecard's written reviews are positive against 83% of JaraGift's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Magilecard ships an update every 2 weeks, JaraGift every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
