# Trace Drawing Projector vs TraceCam

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Trace Drawing Projector at 100% against TraceCam's 0%. Trace Drawing Projector also leads on ads (none vs shown). TraceCam's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 3.9) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Trace Drawing Projector sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and TraceCam sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TraceCam holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 29 and 12 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Trace Drawing Projector's written reviews are positive against 0% of TraceCam's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
