# Trace Drawing Projector vs AnyTrace

The clearest difference is rating: AnyTrace at 4.8 against Trace Drawing Projector's 3.9. AnyTrace also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 18.0). Trace Drawing Projector's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Trace Drawing Projector sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and AnyTrace sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AnyTrace holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Trace Drawing Projector has 29 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Trace Drawing Projector ships an update weekly, AnyTrace every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
