# Scolopendra vs Dune and Dusted

The clearest difference is rating: Scolopendra at 4.6 against Dune and Dusted's 3.0. Scolopendra also leads on ratings volume (289 vs 15). Dune and Dusted's advantage is review sentiment (27% vs 0%) and update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Scolopendra sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Dune and Dusted sells 18 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Scolopendra holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Scolopendra has 289 ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Scolopendra's written reviews are positive against 27% of Dune and Dusted's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
