# Vently vs Y/n

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Y/n at 60% against Vently's 0%. Y/n also leads on rating (4.5 vs 3.9) and ratings volume (5.8K vs 8). Vently's advantage is update cadence (daily vs every 2 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vently sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month and Y/n sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Y/n holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Y/n has 5.8K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 0% of Vently's written reviews are positive against 60% of Y/n's.

Vently ships an update daily, Y/n every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
