# Vidyfy vs Syf Plus

The clearest difference is update cadence: Vidyfy at every 4 days against Syf Plus's every 2 months. Vidyfy also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs paid) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). Syf Plus's advantage is iOS requirement (15.5 vs 17.6). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vidyfy sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and Syf Plus sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Vidyfy against 5.0 for Syf Plus. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Vidyfy has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Vidyfy ships an update every 4 days, Syf Plus every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
