# NextShift vs Folga

The clearest difference is rating: Folga at 5.0 against NextShift's 4.3. NextShift's advantage is ratings volume (13 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NextShift sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Folga sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Folga holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NextShift has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

NextShift ships an update every 2 weeks, Folga every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
