# NextShift vs Cadence

The clearest difference is update cadence: Cadence at every 5 days against NextShift's every 2 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NextShift sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Cadence sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NextShift ships an update every 2 weeks, Cadence every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
