# Rope Puzzle vs Pixel Way Out

Rope Puzzle and Pixel Way Out both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 62% of Pixel Way Out's written reviews are positive against 20% of Rope Puzzle's. Pixel Way Out also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10) and ratings volume (6.2K vs 1K). Rope Puzzle's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rope Puzzle sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Pixel Way Out asks for nothing beyond the download.

Rope Puzzle holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pixel Way Out has 6.2K ratings behind it against 1K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of Rope Puzzle's written reviews are positive against 62% of Pixel Way Out's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Rope Puzzle ships an update every 3 weeks, Pixel Way Out every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
